(Q1) I lost my activation key.
(A1) Contact the Help Desk.

(Q2) What is an activation key?
(A2) An activation key is a kind of password to identify a particular user on keio.jp.
  It is used to confirm that the applicant is the actual user when they initially register their Keio ID.

(Q3) How can I obtain an activation key?
(A3)Notifications are sent in the form of a letter to full-time faculty members. Part-time faculty members can check the notifications at the KIC in each campus.
       Employees can check the notifications on KIF. (The notifications are separately sent to temporary employees.)
       Instructions are given to students when issuing their student ID cards. The serial keys are, however, given to new students before they enter the university. (The registration instructions are separately sent to them.)

(Q4) Someone has obtained my activation key.
(A4) Contact the Help Desk.

(Q5) I received a message telling me that my activation key is invalid.
(A5) An activation key consists of 16 characters, made up of upper and lower case letters, and numbers.
  Please recheck your notification and try entering the activation key again.

(Q6) I received the notification for my activation key, but I don't know how to register.
(A6) You can find the activation procedure in the User's Guide. Please refer to that guide.

(Q7) I haven't received the notification for my activation key yet.
(A7) For more details, contact the Help Desk.
       If you are in a hurry, you can receive your activation key at the KIC in each campus.

(Q8) My personal information (name, address, etc.) on the activation key notification is incorrect.
(A8) Contact the Help Desk.

(Q9) I received more than one activation key.
(A9) If you have more than one status (for example, if you are a student and a faculty member), an activation key is issued for each status.

  At present, you need to register (activate) both keys.

(Q10) Does my activation key have an expiration date?
(A10) An activation key is valid for one year. An activation key cannot be used after its expiration date.
