Starting Up and Shutting Down PC Room Computers

Logging In

Turn on the computer.

Once Windows 11 has finished booting up, the following screen shall be displayed. Hold down Ctrl, Alt and Delete simultaneously.

Next you will be asked to enter your ID and password.

Enter your Keio ID email address and click "Next." After entering your password, click "Verify."

Once your username and password have been confirmed, you will gain access to your desktop.

From time to time, you will see messages from the Shiba-Kyoritsu Information Technology Center after you log in. Simply close the message window when you are done reading.

Please note:

After logging on, please allow some time for the desktop to be displayed.
Even after the desktop appears, do not use the computer until the clock is shown in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Using the computer before startup is complete may result in unexpected problems.

How to Change Your Keio ID Password

Shutdown

• Click the Start button in the center of the screen, then click the Power button and select "Shut down."

Saving Files

Data Storage Area Available from Academic Year 2026

From Academic Year 2026, due to changes in the PC login method, the location for saving data will change from the traditional Z: drive to OneDrive.
For more information, please refer to Changes to Login Accounts for Campus PCs.

Files saved to the Z: drive will be automatically uploaded to OneDrive. The maximum storage capacity is 50 GB.
