(Q1) I bookmarked the previous login screen, but when I accessed it again using the bookmark, I couldn't log in.
(A1) You cannot use the service by bookmarking the login screen. Please bookmark each service's site or the service list page.
(Q2) Only the error message "Principal is not set" is displayed on the error screen, and the login screen does not appear.
(A2) This error occurs when you attempt to access the login screen from your browser's history or similar screen. Please access the service again from the service's top page or the service list page.
(Q3) When I tried to log in to the service, the error message "The user is not assigned to this application." was displayed, and I couldn't log in.
(A3) There are a few possibilities for this:
- This indicates that you cannot log in to the site you are trying to access with your current attributes. For example, this occurs if faculty/staff try to access a service available only to students. Depending on the site, this error may not appear, and an error may occur on the service provider's site after returning from the login screen, preventing login.
- This indicates that the site you are trying to access is configured not to allow login using the authentication result from the Keio University GakuNin System (depending on the site, the screen may turn completely white without this error appearing, as mentioned in the next question). Note that even in such cases, authentication may be possible using an authentication method other than GakuNin (e.g., IP address restriction, or remote access to the Media Center's electronic journals/e-books).
(Q4) No attributes to be transmitted are displayed on the attribute submission screen, and even if I proceed, only a blank white page is displayed, and I cannot use the service.
(A4) Even among systems compatible with GakuNin, there are many systems that cannot be used from the Keio University GakuNin System. When attempting to log in to such services, an error may not occur at the time of login. In such a case, no attributes to be transmitted will be displayed on the attribute submission screen, and proceeding will only result in a white page being displayed. Please refer to the service list page for services that can be used from the Keio University GakuNin System.
(Q5) I am entering the correct ID and password, but I cannot log in.
(A5) There are several possibilities for this:
- The users who can utilize the Keio University GakuNin System are students and faculty belonging to Keio University, and staff belonging to Keio Gijuku. Unfortunately, other users cannot use it.
- The Keio University GakuNin System cannot be used with all GakuNin-compatible services. Some services that the university has not contracted with or services that have not completed the registration process cannot be used.
- A keio.jp account activated on the same day cannot be used with the Keio University GakuNin System. Please try again on the following day or later.
- In addition, there is a possibility that login may not be successful due to various other reasons.
(Q6) I cannot log in to UNiDAYS via GakuNin.
(A6) Regarding student discount qualification registration using UNiDAYS for services like Apple Music and the Apple Store, this university does not permit collaboration between UNiDAYS and GakuNin. If you use UNiDAYS, please create an account directly on the UNiDAYS website without using GakuNin. Also, when creating a UNiDAYS account, please authenticate using the "Verify email address" button, not the "Start portal" button.
