Regarding Changes to Campus PC Login Accounts

As per the following, the login account for campus installed PCs is scheduled to change from the ITC account to the Keio ID starting from the 2026 academic year.

Target PCs

Campus installed PCs across five campuses (Mita, Hiyoshi, Shinanomachi, Yagami*, Shiba Kyoritsu)
(PCs installed in PC classrooms and self-study areas)
Login to workstations (Linux) will continue to use the ITC account.

Change Date

Sequentially starting around mid-March 2026

Impact of the Change

  • After the change, please log in to the PC using your Keio ID (keio.jp account)
    Logging in to the PC using the ITC account will no longer be possible.
  • The ITC accounts you have been using will not be suspended.
    • The ITC account will continue to be used for some services.
    • The suspension date will be announced once decided.
  • Please see below for services previously used with the ITC account.

Saved Data

Data saved on the PC (Z drive) will become unavailable at the end of August 2026.
If you require this data, please back it up by then.

Wireless LAN (keiomobile2 / eduroam), Wired LAN

It is scheduled to remain available until the end of the 2026 academic year. However, if you are currently using the ITC account to set up Wireless LAN (keiomobile2 / eduroam)*, please change the settings to use keio.jp within the 2026 academic year.
Those who have set up using keio.jp (Keio ID) do not need to make any changes
To check if you are using the ITC account, please refer to the following for each device you use:
macOS  / iOS(iPhone/iPad) / Android
Checking is not possible for Windows PCs. If this applies to you, please redo the settings using keio.jp.

Personal Web Page / Unix Login

It is scheduled to migrate to a new system after September 2026, but until then, you can continue to use it as before.

  • The account will also continue to use the ITC account until the new system migration.
  • Details of the new system will be announced once decided.
  • If you wish to continue using the Unix environment after April 2026, a continuation procedure is required.
    The continuation procedure will be announced once decided, but it is expected to be almost the same as the 2025 academic year continuation procedure.
